High dexterity does allow for more attacks of opportunity if you have the combat reflexes feat

I'll explain if you don't have the player's handbook....or just want to hear an explanation.

Ok, here's a sample character. Level 2 character 28-pt buy.

Name: Errol Flynns ugly twin
Rgr1/Ftr1
Human Lawful Good

Feats:
Weapon finesse Rapier
Weapon finesse short sword
Weapon focus Rapier
Track

Str 12
Dex 18
Con 12
Int 12
Wis 8
Cha 8

Normal attack mode dual wielding Rapier and short sword.
Which means two attacks per round with attack bonus
+5(rapier) / +4(sh sword)

Ranged attack (light crossbow) attack bonus +6.

Studded leather gives a total AC17.

At level 4 add stat point to either Str or Int depending of what feats this character "wants".

Note: Thinking about it it's probably better to take dex16. One problem with this character is that he has to maintain 'Light load' to be efficient.

Are these feats in the d&d character creator on the BG2 cd?

Don't know what was delivered on the BG2 cd. Those are feats from the 3e core rules (PHB) which NWN will be based on. I made him using the char gen from the PHB (also downloadable from WotC). The Track feat is automatically chosen since he started as ranger.

As a ranger he also benefits from Ambidexterity and Two-weapon fighting under certain conditions which I have tried to exploit here.

Edit: One other option is to build on a rogue/fighter combination instead. Could be just as interesting.
