Sorcerors best henchmen?

What is the best henchman for a sorceror... so who is the most hardcore tank that can take damage and protect me while i cast spells?

Daelan Red Tiger (Half-Orc Barbarian) at first. At the later stages of the game, you can either keep him or swich him for Grimgnaw (Dwarven Monk).

Grimgnaw is a ravening beast. I'm at lvl 10, he's at 9, and apart from just having got some seriously good-looking armour, he is unstoppable. One time I was in a room full of monsters when my mouse started sticking, so I took it apart and cleaned it out - my Dwarven Fighter stood there while Grimgnaw wiped the floor with all their asses. He'd finished before I did...astonishing damage dealer. He doesn't have an enormous amount of HP though, as he is a monk and rolls a d8 - Daelan Red Tiger rolls d12, but his constitution is less. I'd still go with Grimgnaw for his ability to make you not need to bother with...anything, really.

ROFL - as I type I've left NWN running alt-tabbed, and I must've forgotten to pause, as the battle music just started up. Took about 3 seconds of "oof oof oof" and then it all quietened down again
