Shifter related questions

Just a few questions about shifters...

1) If a spell that adds to spell resistance was casted before shifting into a form that has an innate spell resistance of its own, will the spell and the innate resistances stack?

2) When shifter, will heavy armour's dex penities still apply?

I would advise you to seek your answers in the folloing link: http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/game/34934.html

Take a look at the shifter FAQ, very detailed (though I'm not sure it is up to date any more).

Thanks for the link.

Unfortunatly, the FAQ only answers my second question, could anyone try and help me with the first please?

Does magic induced spell resistance stack with innate magic resistances?

Any suggestions for my character's third class? I'm focusing on using Risen Lord, bard or rouge seems to be good, one gets sneak attack (3d6, since I will only be taking at ost 5 levels of 3rd class) and evasion while the other gets extra damage/save/AB from songs and spellcraft. Getting access to UMD is also a great bonus for both classes.

Also, I presume that using healing kits will not harm me while in RL form, unlike using healing potions. Is that correct? Another question is about vamp regen: If my weapon has a better VR than that of RL, will override RL's?

My Wis and Cha will not be high enough to make use of monk AC bonus and pala's divine grace.

I don't know about healing kits, however I sure that the regen stacks.

As for your third class, if you only want to take a few levels, Bard would be good at the end for both Tumble and UMD, taking multiple levels allows for some spells and a better song.

I don't understand why your wisdom will be low as STR, DEX, and CON are set to a specific number IIRC. Therefore taking a level of Monk for the AC and Tumble (and evasion) would not be a bad idea.

Deekin's songs will be much better, and since they don't stack, its better to leave the singing to him.

Risen Lord form only affects Con and Str, thus I was thinking of boosting Dex for extra AC bonus. Armour penerty doen't apply when shapechanged, so it should work out.

I'm not going to have much of a Wis score because undead shape does not require a certain Wis score, so its a moot point to bring it up sky high.

Presently I'm for druid 9/ bard 1/ shifter X

If you don't care at all about spells or dragon shape, it may not be worth it to take monk, however don't forget that it also offers unarmed bonuses for non-weapon forms as you are levelling to shifter (and evasion). The problem with taking Bard is when to put the points into skills, and whether you even have enough. Why would you choose DEX over WIS anyway for a Druid?
