Hiya good people,

When playing Shadows of Undrentide, I did the quest to get the Fortune Teller's cards back. Once getting them, and talking to the girl at the camp - she gave me a key. When I approached the caravan with the fortune teller inside; the door wouldn't open. It said I'd need the right key and no amount of tinkering or spells would work etc etc etc.

I tried dropping the key, picking it up and trying again. I tried giving the key to my henchman and trying again. I tried talking to the halfling woman thruogh every possible conversation method and then I quit. I even reloaded a few times and the same thing happened.

Any help would be appreciated! Otherwise I *might* just implode.

There are 3 wagons. You sure you are trying the right one? Try all 3 first. I can't remember just now, which one is the correct. (can look it up in the toolset if needs be?)

If none of the 3 opens, you have likely encountered a bug (although I haven't experienced this), and then the first question is, wether or not your game is patched fully?

Only one of the wagons actually has a door! So yeah I got the right one. My game is also 1.62- so the latest patch.

The only thing I can think of to try at the moment would be to spawn in another key, although I doubt that would really help.

But the way to do so would be to use dm command/console commands.

Easiest way is to type in the chat-box (the "Talk:" just above your quick item slots).

Type:
##DebugMode 1
##dm_spawnitem q1ikey (this will spawn the key under your mouse cursor)
##DebugMode 0

(if using the console command prompt (refere to your manual) instead of the "Talk:" box, don't use the ## preface).

I don't really know if this would work, but then it seems you have hit a glitch of some sorts.
Besides this spawning in the key, I haven't really got many ideas at the moment.

If it matters, you are not going to miss much by not getting a reading from the Fortune Teller.

What I seem to recall she tells you, is that somebody will ask for your help in the city of Blumberg (spelling?) that you must not refuse.
