Question Question on setting

I know that the game is set in the town of Neverwinter and the woods but can you go anywhere else, maybe like Longsaddle?

Well, Neverwinter and Luskan are in the single player mode and also a small port city.

Longsadle is father south, near Silvermoon (that is more to the south that Neverwinter).

Of course that BioWare single player mode.

As you can see in my signature, I intent to create the city of waterdeep and is truly big as a sample were others can create modules using it without having to build the whole city from nothing.

I also try to bulid (austin power again? saturday - must remenber) shadow dale and that would not too dificult because its just a village (twisted tower will give me troubles, I am sure).

DDD,

What kind of research do you do in order to re-create these locations? Are you a longtime PnP player??? I haven't played any PnP since the early 80's, but I want to be able to create something cool with NWN that isn't a total joke. Any ideas on where an ignorant slob like me can get some ideas and geography lessons???

Shadow Dale is easy, it comes with 2nd ed Forgotten realms setting Box.

Rashmare/Thay is also easy since it comes with spellbound box.

The Waterdeep city maps come with city of wonder box (that is all about waterdeep).

I will have to change some things since swimming, clinbing and riding is out of the game, because of that I have to change somethings (in the shadow dale adventure we had to 3 ropes and only one was safe to climb, I have to change that for another type of trial).

I own those boxes and I know some people that are going to recreate old modules from the past...

Wizards of the cost free classic downloads have many modules that have maps, the North is one that have some city maps and geograpic maps.

That Drakon. I was particulary interested if we could go to the locations where Drizzt and his friends stopped over in "Streams of Silver" and "Halfling's Gem". Maybe we could get to Malchor Harpells tower. I believe thats in Neverwinter woods.
