Question, Chapter 1 (possible spoilers)

Hi everyone!
I have a small doubt that stopped my gaming as I'm afraid it may be some kind of bug and I don't want to go too far in the game only to find out I have to go back to the beginning:
I recovered the first ingredient (the brain of the devourer) and a friend warned me after each recovered one some assassins would try to kill me leaving behind some clues... I wasn't attacked, I brought the brain back to the Temple and now I'm ready to go for the next one. Is it normal? When should this attack take place? My friend said he was attacked before reaching the Temple (I took the normal route, without using the stone).

I got the first ingredient back without an attack. Going to or coming from the second one I got attacked. I can't recall for the third one, and the fourth one I got attacked again. I'm not absolutely sure, but I think the trigger for the attack(s) is, first, you return the first ingredient, then when you get the anonymous notes from one of the attackers and show it to Aribeth [who tells you to take it to Fenthick] it triggers the other attacks in turn.

yea dont worry about that u dident get attacked i dident either intill the 2 3 and 4th it normal it realy depends where u go 2 like locations that make u get seen my enemies.

Thanks guys, it's really a relief to know that. Considering how big the game is I was really worried about a bug in the italian version.
