please help, I'm stuck with a bug in hotu.

I'm stuck with the colored chain puzzle in ch 1 level 2 central. Is there somthing special I have to do exept pulling the chains in the order that they appear above the pool , cause it dosent work at all !It keep saying that nothing appens after i pull the first chain . I've tried for hours and now I'm going mad. By the way, its a good way to gain a lot of xp

ok guys i found what I was doing wrong, for those who have the same problem, if a red dragon wyrmling appears its because you did something wrong.
