im in the room where saer bodkin is, eg place in chest 1 fen berry and crystal then cast endure elements it only seems to work once? is that right i seem to have a lot of regents for just 1 cast of each scroll. are there any other spells i can cast other than the 5 scrolls ive got?

Yes, it only works once and you can only create the items you have recipes for. So one for each book.
