Performance Drop after Installing SoU ?

Hi ! I recently installed SoU (German Version) and suddenly noticed that NWN´s perfomance deteriorated afterwards. The engine does not run smoothly if there is some activity on screen. I never noticed this before so I wonder if SoU is the reason for this. Has anyone else experienced this as well ? BTW, does the number of custom- made mods and haks have any influence on the game´s perfomance ?

My System :

AMD 2000XP+
512 MB DDR-RAM
GeForce4 4200 Ti 64 MB
Windows XP Pro

Thanks for the help,

Nagroth

I noticed that action in some cut-scenes seems to be hard on my software, and when several things happen on screen it does slow down my system, so I would tribue it to SoU, or maybe just NwN in general.

Got a system that should run it smooth (p4 2.4, 512 ram, geforce 4 bla bla bla, but not optimized much though), but NwN can pull some resources.

I would think that SoU has slowed down NwN for me also yes.

As for if the number of Mods and HAKs decrese speed I can't say. I only run with camera hak and have a HAK for playing in Argyle. besides this I have nothing extra content added.

I think that Bioware increased some of the polygon counts with SoU. If that's the case, that's probably the problem.
