NWN-Chapter 1, Beggers Nest problems

When I killled Drawl in the Warehouse...or any creature in the Warehouse, The electronic barrier did not drop. I believe this is preventing me from getting into the last few areas of the Crypts. Is there anything else that can be done about this? Another way to unlock the door in the Crypts so I can get to this final area?

Another problem I am having is I dont show getting credit for turning in “Ancient Chronicles of Halueth Never” to Oleff. This is making me wonder if I ever got the book. Or is I just simply didn't get credit.

I'm wondering if there is a connection between the two problems some how. Maybe I cant get credit for showing the book to Oleff because I couldnt finish the Crypts area. Just grasping here.

There is another way down to the Crypts in the Beggar's Nest, personally, I usually clear out both routes so I get the experience and treasure.
To open up the other route, find the other person for the undead hunter, Drake. That should lead you onto the other Crypts entrance. No lightning barriers to be found in the other entrance either, fortunately.

I have been in the Crypts. Not sure exactly where I entered from. But I was unable to get to area 4 & 6 going by the Walkthrough map on Banshee site. I'm not sure it even matters unless it has something to do with getting final credit and completing the quest with Oleff. I was just kind of grasping since the The Crypts are in the same area that the Tomb is to get the quest item.

At this point Im not going to worry about it. I'm ready to move on to Chapter 2. Thank you for your input!
