Need Help Now! Creator Ruins

I've gotten the ring to show the golem, but the gate wont open without the proper key. I've searched the place over and cant find any key. Need help, playing right this second!

As I recall, its in the southern part of the dungeon...maybe its on a corpse or in a chest in some remote corner...

If this is where I think it is - Gaxx is right. A key in the southern area in a chest.
(level 2 of ruins?)

Actually it was the 1st level. After some research I found out that the golem I showed the signet ring to was supposed to take the ring and give me a key for the gate, but there's a bug where he doesnt always do it. So with the help of a saved game and a little backtracking I tried again and it worked this time.

Ok, so, I've run into the same problem (Creater Ruins level 1), reloaded all the way back to before I'd started in the troll caves, got to the Golem, and have tried six or seven times to get him to give me the key, and it's still not working. Every time he takes the ring and dissapears. Any suggestions?

Is your game patched fully?

You can use the toolset to find the code for the proper key, then use the console command (dm_spawnitem) to bring it into the game.
Information as to how to do this should be findable via a search. It isn't terrible complex

(Oh, and there is no need to bumping a 3 year old topic, then you could just as well create a new one
