Need Help ! (Alchemists Apparatus in High Tower)

I found this book on the 3th level in the high tower, which mensions the creation of an item. 2 Ingredients are required (a Slad Tounge and a Gargoyle Skull, i already got those). Then the book goes on : "Dispel the magical essence from the components that u may reap ur reward".... im lost ? How am i supposed to do that ?

Just cast a dispel magic spell, and you will get a wand of dispel.
