| Depends on the domains. The only powers some domains give is extra spells at certain levels, which if you don't reach that spellcasting level you don't get squat. The domain powers aren't the same as regular D&D. But yes for certain domains you can get the powers by only taking one level of cleric but they still wont be all that useful. Strength for instance gives you a bonus to your 3 physical stats but I believe the number of bonus points you recieve and the duration are determined by your cleric level.
