I have the same problem...

...because I'm allowed to play during down times at work - I do a LOT of my NWN playing there - in fact, much more so than I get to at home. However, I'd play more at home if I could transfer my character to my home computer as well.

I've been *told* save character will do this, though I've never tried.

Hey! I'll do it now!

Ok, I just tested this method out with the computer next to me.

I did the following:

1. Save the most recent game as a "easily reconizable" Game name when the game prompts you (I used "NICO_TEST").
2. Exit the game.
3. If you have windows, go into the NWN *folder* on your computer.
4. Search for the folder called "saves"
5. Find the folder with the title you gave it (I would look for NICO_TEST folder)
6. Copy that folder to a disc or email ALL of the files to yourself.

Once you have those files on your new computer:
1. Go into the "saves" folder on your new computer in the NWN folder
2. Move the folder from your disc to the "saves" folder.
OR (if you emailed it to yourself)
3. Create a new folder called "NICO_TEST" (or whatever you want)
4. Copy the files you sent to yourself into the folder.
5. Open up NWN, choose that save, and play!
