Question More issues with Tomi

1. In the Helm's Hold Basement, Tomi said he couldn't disable the trap on the chest (#8 on the map). I tripped it and lived. Now when I attempt to open it, it says locked although Tomi doesn't offer to unlock it.

2. I thought that henchmen were supposed to level up with you. I am a level 7, although Tomi is (I believe level 4) and after I level up, and I talk to him, the option isn't there for him to level up.

Thanks!

The henchmen should level up whenever you do..... you don't have to tell him to lvl up.

How do you know that tomi is only lvl 4? I can't recall away to check this.....

I'm 95% (or more) sure that there is an examine option (somewhere) in the radial menu if you right click on a henchmen.

As for the original poster, then I can't say why he seemingly doesn't level while you do. Have you changed him out with other henchsmen for a periode?

As for not opening chests, it might be that the chest have to high lock skill so Tomi can't unlock it.

ahh yes... there's a thread here somewhere that talks about a chest in the Hslm's hold basement and of it's huge lockpick percentage...... there is nothing of any value in it IIRC

as for the examine thing I'll have to check that out.....

I think I left Tommy for a small amount of time, I believe he died and I didn't "go retrieve him" immediately.

Any suggestions on how to 'fix' him?

Actually got little idea as to what to try to "fix" tomi.

If you are sure he isn't around your level - examine him to see his level (right click -> more actions -> examine) then try dumping him from your party, and taking him in once more and see if the "level" dialog option is there.

If not, then I don't really know.
