Mmmm Magic Resistance

First off i have a question. If i have 3 items with magic resistance equiped (weapon - 10, shield-10, ring-16) Does that put my total to 36 or does it take the highest number which would be 16.

Secondly Im wondering which ring we you suggest me wearing. I have a ring that gives me 15 resist all elements or should I wear the ring that gives me the 16 magic resistance.

It don't give a total, but the highest bonus, which in this case is 16.

I'd probably wear both of the rings (depening on the situation).
If I meet a caster that uses non-elemental damage I'd go with the SR ring. If I meet a caster or a monster that does elemental damage I'd use the Ring of Resistance.
