Meeting My Maker (Spoilers, HotU)

I...Don't...Like...Damage Resistance....

I've just recently gone down to the third level of the golem ruins, and have had a cheerful chat with the person in charge. unfortunatly, after our talk, the Maker seems to want to kill me, and I am unable to return the favor.

Basically, I am at the moment a 13 Fighter/ 9 Assassin, (I'm basically following the Ninja/Kuniochi Guide on the site, only with Short Swords), with Deekin and Nytharra as my loyal henchmen...henchpersons..henchthings. Essentially the issue is that I cannot kill the damn thing. With about 200 points of dmg absorbtion and then an ungodly amount of defense, I am whacking at the damn skull, while it casts ice storms and firestorms and summons mean elementals. After a while it kind ran out of spells, but still managed to clobber me. (Note: I kinda decided that I was doing something wrong when I ran out of Rogue Stones to respawn.)

I'd had both of my Henchthings cast every buffer spell I have, I've drank about two gallons of potions, and I even had Deekin sing (Thats how desperate I was). Anyone who can tell me how to clobber that floating skull would be greatly appreciated.

I've also been thinking about triying to knock it down, (Worked wonders with the Drow Assassin in the Beholder Area) But I can't hit it with ehough regularity for that to work.

Have you gotten your weapons upgraded by the drow smith/enchanter in the village of the Seer?
That might help a good deal - for instance getting some extra enchantment bonus added to them?

I've done that as much as I could, but I have one issue in that... Money.. those upgrades are rather expensive, and I don't have all that much cash left. I thin I have about 20k left over, not enough for anything. I'm using Ensirric and a Breath of the Maiden, dualweild.
