lvl 40 char...

Hi, I have downloaded epic character maker to get lvl 40.
But i dont know what program to open it with when its a .mod file

anyone know a program to open the file with?

hm... never heard of it, but managed to get a lv.40 wizard anyways.

Sure. I made my own module in the toolset. I filled the area with lv. 60 creatures. Now make sure you have a robe or something that makes you godlike. then kill all the monsters and you will be on lv. 40 soon enough.

Or you can use cheats.

i only got lvl 20!

but how ´do i know if the creatures are lvl 60?

you can set their level in the editor. from 1-180. can't remember how. sorry

If cheats only brought you to lvl20, I somehow wonder... can it be that you don't have any expansion modules (Sou or HotU) installed?

Since only the expansions brought the epic character levels (20+) into the game. Or do the latest patches do that too? Don't think so, but can't tell since I -do- have both expansions installed. :/

You can only access epic levels AND ONLY IF you have Hoardes of the Underdark installed on your PC. SoU doesn't even have them.

how do i get the cheat of the HOTU? i am playing a wizard lv 15 and it so hard and painfull. can you sent me the cheat to gain 40 lv (the one you two tallked about?) or can you address in to where can i come accross it?

The cheats are all over the net. If you're finding it that hard, you should just try different tactics. There are a few though fights, but not THAT hard. The levels you have are more than enough, especially early on.
