Do some quests for people. That is the best way to get XP.

Depends what chapter you're in. There are a few xp exploits you can use.

In the warrens, in chapter one, in the tomb with the mummy, behind a locked door, you can keep putting items in the tomb and it'll keep generating mummys.

In chapter two by the waterfall to the spirits realm in Neverwinter woods if you scrawl your name onto the altar it'll generate a dire bear, but havn't tried that one.

There are others but those are the only two I know off hand. I think this topic came up on the offical site's forum, search for experience. Don't know if it's been discussed here.

Hope that helps.

The bug with the Ancient Dire Bear was resolved in a previous patch, the bear only appears once now.

If you want more xp and have the patience when you reach the Snow globe in Chapter 3, you can continue killing the dryads/dwarves as long as you like though the xp that they give is very low.

What you should do is run as quickly as you can to the end, don't kill anything. Once your've got to the end, and got to level 3, go back and kill everything. This should get you about a 1000xp, putting you at 4000xp. Good luck mate.

Good idea NOT to have anyone else in your party (i.e. a pet, summons, henchmen etc). This will reduce your xp, sharing it between partymembers. Unfortunately, I didnt see this until chapter 3, so I probably only have gotten 1/3 the xp I should have had

Hmm - I was under the impression that having a henchman and summoned counted into the party CR and since these often are a level lower then you - your CR would get lower and thus you would get more exp out of a fight. (due to your CR compared to encounters CR)

I had no problems reaching level 20 in-game with my fighter/thief with a henchman. So there is deffinately enough exp around.
