Kurth's portal bug - Spoiler!

I'm trying to close portal in Kurth's hideout. I have smooth token and glowing sphere, but when I click on portal nothing happen. Is that a bug? I couldn't find any information about portal bugs so I'm a bit stuck there. Thanks for any help.

How it usual should be, then clicking on the center of the portal should start a convesation, allowing you to put items into the portal (and thus shut it down).
As with all covesations, you can't talk while fighting or being attacked, so you have to make sure that there are no imps, hellhounds or succubus at the portal.

If you aren't getting the convesation, I can't really say what is wrong, but it sounds as if you have been bugged. The only thing I could recommend, is if you haven't done so yet - to patch the game fully (currently version 1.62).

Thanks for quick replay. I have 1.62 version of the game. It seems that it was some sort of bug, there was no dialog window when I clicked on portal, restarting game didn't help, so I load a save before entering Kurth's quarters, again get in, killed all imps, dogs, succubus etc. and this time portal work just fine. Lucky me
