Post kits

i read on the nwn page about the classes and extensive customization of charcaters but they didnt say wether or not kits would be made available to the characters?
can you choose akit?
if not does the customization allow for adding of special abilities? (example: can a plain old thief choose to sacrifice some abilite points and gain things like poison weapon? this way they would resemble an assasin kit)
or is every thief gonna be the same?
thanx

I think there'll be quite a few kits, they're just not mentioning them yet.

There are no kits in Third Edition D&D.

Frankly, this is a very good thing.

D&D3e has a fully integrated skill system, plus the completely new Feat system (similiar to Perks in the Fallout series), and together with the much more logical and balanced multiclassing rules, it makes for a great deal of flexibility in character creation and advancement. Far more flexibility and possibility for diversity than was ever possible with kits.

Kits suck. All hail 3e!
