Item Level Restrictions

Hi,

How do you turn on / off / adjust? item level restrictions?

Is it done with the toolset and the module saved that way or/and is it in scripting?

If you play Multiplayer, then I think it's set by the server that you're playing on. But for Single player game, then it's your setting. Firstly, go to the folder where you installed NWN, I think the default is C:\Neverwinter\NWN\ (can't remember exactly, not at home now). Look for a file called player.ini - or something similar, the ".ini" part might not show up, depending on your settings.

Open the file with NotePad, and look for the line SinglePlayerItemLevelRestriction=#. If the # is a 0, then it's off, if it's a 1 then it's on. Simple change it to what you want, save and close the file and start NWN.

Edit - a few errors above, sorry.

The default folder where the game is installed is C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN

The file that you are looking for is nwnplayer.ini

The line that you want to edit is Single Player ItemLevelRestrictions=#, # = 0 for off, 1 for on.
