| | Investing my money? Where can I invest my money? I mean, I don't buy weapons, armor, potions and stuff, I just use what I find, so is there a smart way of using this 80k I've earned through the game (I don't have any expansions)? |

| | You'll need money to upgrade your weapond at the blacksmith - if tou choose to. Also, you need to pay for services at the brothels |

| | OK, I'm doing Chapter 3 now (I think so: I'm in Port Llast and trying to find the cult that started the plague in Neverwinter), and I need to find:
-the blacksmith
-someone who can sell me more Bags of Holding (found them in the Green Griphon Inn, but there's only one; maybe it will be available again after some time?)
-(optionally) a brothel

| | The next blacksmith is at Beorunna's Well in Chap 3. There's a Drinking House there also you can spend some $$ to loosen the tongue of a witness of a side quest. There are also a few characters I came across that I paid to get info. I found some bags at merchants and a few on corpses - still can't get the smell out of those.

| | Inflation is hell!! Fortunately, the items you find are worth more $$. Also, I found you needed to hold on to the Ironwood and Adamantite from chap 1 if you want to use some for upgrading your weapons. I never found any ironwood or adamantite after chap 1. |

| | | He he... So I guessed well when I kept those thing all the way from chapter 1...
And enemies here are very tough!! With top owning equipment from previous chapter I can now barely save my life!!
Also I found and bought some bags of holding, so I won't need them at all...
Man this is one BIG and LONG game... It's better that way, I guess... I hate short games... |

| | The only thing that helped me was to fight the areas closest to Beronna's Well before going on to areas further away. Hopefully this will let you level up. Also, I found I need to know what Amulets, Rings and belts work best against each enemy. If I get it right, the foes sometimes barely touch me. I also try to get just close enough for one enemy to come at me, it's easier to fight them one at a time. I had a hard time with mummies until I got the belt that grants immunity to disease - encircling scale belt I think. The game is long but addictive - it drives me crazy when I think "I'll just clear this one area" and a couple hours later I'm still at it.

There's always something new... Haven't played it the whole time, though... | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
