In ruins of Illusk Killing Voleron

I am a fighter and my weapon will not touch Voleron. My guy Daelan is killed right off. It seems magic is the way to go, but I have non... any suggestions? My weapon is a two bladed sword "Blade of Corellon". I am level 8 fighter and lever 3 Rogue.

I am looking for a better blade, but found non so far.

I never had that much trouble killing that lich.

You could try drawing off any allies, baiting him to cast his defensive spells and then retreating and resting. Hopefully some of the spells will have ended by then. To get round effects such as (Greater) Stoneskin use any weapon that has an elemental type of bonus.

As a rogue you may be able to use magic items, such as scrolls and wands. Flame Weapon and Magic Weapon spells may help you (but I am not sure if they are available in the Main Campaign). If possible try to get hold of a spell breach scroll from the surface merchants which may dispel some of his protections.
