How am I supposed to talk to Aarin? (spoilers)

And, yes, I did use search option first

Upon doing my second run trough NWN, I decided to get hold of mr Gend. The first character was a tough druidess, 26 STR so she didn't fit for that.

I listened to all his story in ch2 (i liked it, he's got a great voice in polish version, too) and got the amulet. It did not disappear on entering Luskan and Aarin said "we would have much time to talk in Luskan" but once there, we didn't. There was no option to talk about other things. Ch2 finished, ch3 started, and it's the same again. The only dialogue options are about the main quest, the where, how and who. Nothing on the lines of "remember when you wanted to know me better? you can now" or something.

Did I miss some "unlocking" event? Or is it just the end? I don't know if I should look foward to something or not...

(more spoilers ahead) BTW, haven't you got a feeling that Aarin's story is much more tragic than Aribeth's? I mean, he had to kill the woman he loved with his own hands... That's horrible. And he exposed himself first, he wanted to give her a chance which she refused...

You reach a point in the conversation where it goes no further, he just makes comments every now and then about you being his love and him worrying about your safety etc. At least thats what I remember anyway. Its not like the Aribeth romance where you get something useful at the end of it, its just a little extra really.

Thanks. I don't mind if it's over, but when given the amulet I got an entry in my journal saying "note: if you want aarin to finish his story later you need to keep the amulet" so it put an idea in my head that there's going to be something later. Well, nevermind, I've got to write my thesis so no time for gaming anyway Blasted translation!
