HotU : item creation in the Hordes of the Underdark

Any tips or spoilers how to make any item out of "magical components" like fairy dust and dragon blood in the Hordes of the Underdark? One could collect so many fairydust in Chapter1 and lots of Slaadi tongues too. There's also alchemists apparatusses lying around in every chapter except the last. Has anyone succeeded in making anything by mixing those magical stuff?

I haven't played NWN for a looong time now.. i think there are books that have some.. Well, u can also use the Aurora Tool to ur advantage...
