HOTU henchman storyline ?

So, I was wondering why I am not recognized as the Hero of Neverwinter in the 3rd game. I have the same character I used in the original and 1st expansion, and yet when I play HOTU my old companions don't know me, and I am no longer THAT hero.
Did I miss something somewhere where that is explained??
I know this isn't an extremely important game question, but it's been bothering me. If anyone has input, I'd appreciate it!

That is because the storyline of HotU actually is the following the character from the SoU expansion, and not the original NwN.

Of course, it makes little difference which character you use, because all NPC/Storyline behavior is scripted into the game, and not dynamic. So while the NwN henchmen dosen't recognize you, the SoU one will (regardless of playing SoU I think). Also you should have/find a book early on, that descripes your adventure in SoU as descriped by the books author (the SoU henchmen in HotU).
