Henchmen question

I just begon the game and now I need to know witch henchman you guys think is the best. I really need it cause i don't know witch one to choose!

I use Tomi most of the time, though.

Linu? I liked her too, especially that she heals automatically in battle, but right now I am playing an elven cleric So decided to try Sharwyn (whose bard songs also help in battle) and she has proved just as capable as Tomi on locks (but not traps - yet she is less irritating). But to be honest I am mostly soloing, since I am used to playing a druid and am finding the cleric way over powered in comparison

My class is ranger (level 4 in the meantime), Well I did choose Bodyknock Ginkle as my henchmen. Is that allright?

The first time I played the game I used him.

BUT, after I cleared a section, me and Tomi went back for all the locked stuff.

I wish I could take both of them at the same time, but since I can't I'll stick with Tomi. Heck, he's like family now.

Of course he is. It's your opinion that matters, not ours. We all have diffrent opinions.

Yes, he's good.

The longer you stick with him the better he gets, as with all NPCs.

As I said, if I could I would take him and Tomi with to make a trio, but you can only have one at time.

.1. You may change them how often you wish, and i suggest to do so. Every has a profile and use in specific environment. Linu is great against undead, for example, and Tomi in trap rich places. I used to clear the area with one and (shame, there's almost no respawn in NWN) then to come back with Tomi to unlock chests (it's more profitable to open them with higher levels anyway, even according to 3E).
2. Every of them has a quest (and an item as reward) related in Ch.1 and 2. There is a reason to solve their problems to get items and XP. However, you do not have to use the henchman to solve his particular problem, just talk after you've got the solution.
3. Only for last chapter (for the very end of previous, in fact) you have to choose one (or none) and forever.
