HELP, Can't find Red chain

I am playing the Hordes of the Underdark and I can't get the red chain. I have all the other ones, just not the red one. Is their a trick to getting it? I have gone over the second level three times, I have killed off everything and I have not found the red chain yet. I can't decend into the 3rd level until I find this chain. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

It is a spoiler so you know what to do.
The red chain should have been found on Shareesh, the Rakshasa impersonating a human slave. He is the one who greets you as you enter. This is the east exit from the main area (one with the chains).
