Greetings

Hello all. Picked up the game last week and am pretty impressed although I didn't follow the game too much in the years we've been waiting for this to come out. Since purchasing, I've been reading stuff in here and the scripting forum, the NWN forum itself seems to focus more on the SP campaign, and while I'm playing it, I don't care to read about spoilers and how to do this or that.

Anyway, the purpose of my thread is to express my concern in the multiplayer aspects of the game, it's intended purpose IMHO. I've actually more of an interest in DM'ing and creating modules and campaigns than playing, although I'd certainly be game for participating as a player. I know little to nothing of the world of argyle, only what I've read here, however, this seems to be the venue to discuss the MP format so I'm getting my feet wet here.

It seems most of the gang here reside in europe so given the time difference (i'm in the US), I'm not sure how much we'd get to play together. However, when it comes to design and sharing ideas, tips, plot lines, aurora navigation, and scripting, I'm all for it. I have a slight background in 'C' but a strong aptitude for computers so I believe I can tackle scripting.

Also, is this the correct place for this sort of post. The NWN forum seems to be a place of debate for the game itself and a spoiler provider. Where is the forum for developers to get together to share ideas?

Final questions, as modules are developed, where can they be shared with people here. Can anyone join BotB?

thanks

Hey, Ned. If you have issues about scripting, there is a dedicated NWN scripting forum, but multi-player stuff would probably belong here.

I, too, have wondered how we might work the MP thing. I have NEVER done an MP adventure, but was planning on doing so in NWN. Hey - you're from Minnesota, right? Me too! We, at least could get our time zones straight. But I won't be playing until Christmas, I think, when I get a new 'puter.

As for Blade of the Banshees: it is open to any member of Game Banshee. PM Xandax to submit a character, and dig through this forum for information.

Pip-pip!

Ned, for now this may be the best place for such a discussion, but it might be a good idea to beg the Buckmeister for a campaign developer's forum.... What do you think, Mighty Satanic One?

@Ned: anything to do with the scripting and developlement of modules will have to go in the scriptning forum.

If you want story-line or stuff like that help - post it here, or in NwN forum.
