in chapter 2 there is a mage who has come from nwinter sorry cant remember her name she asks you to find some books which i have done and i have got loads of reagents that you can use in a tome of(sorry cant remember that name either)if you put certain ingrdiants in you get things out does any body know where it is and how do myou use it

If I understand this correct.

Then in the lab. of the wizard you do the quest for (the portal is that shimmering thing behind her I belive. been a little while since I've played it) there is a chest in the middle of a room.

If you place the items descriped in the Tomes in this chest and cast the spell mentioned in the Tome on the chest you will create the magical item.

"Wizard Lab" desks can also be used if you find such a one.
