Beorunna's Well: Temple of Tyr

Hi!

In chapter 3, Beorunna's Well: Temple of Tyr, I have a problem with Edegar. Everyone else raise a burning torch. He doeesn't have the sword, but won't raise the torch. What's wrong with him... or with me?

Well - if you get both withness' real testemonies you shouldn't have much problem winning the trial unanimous.

Just stay away from any dialog lines in the trial that are race related.

(I can't remember the excat dialog tree, possible somebody else can so this is best advice I can give at the moment)

I think you have to stay away from the alcohol related questions too.

Not necessarily - anything related to booze will usually grant you that one soldiers consent... I had a quite haphazard strategy, but it workd out nonetheless. Still, I found the trial to be one of the most difficult challenges in the game...

Unanimously? That is even possible?
Ok, I still hear something new about this game every now and then.

Unanimously is quite possible yes.
First time I did the quest, I ended up loosing it and was surprised because it was about the first challenged I've recived in the game
So I reloaded, and got him aquitted, but not unanimously, but was happy enough and played along

Second run through the game I remembered the fun with that quest, and with some try and error I managed to get an unanimous aquittle.
But this is a long time ago by now, so I can't remember the dialog tree anymore.

I remember that if you say that it was the booze that made Rolkan (or whatever his name was) kill that other guy, the members will find him guilty, but if you say that his drink was "spoiled", they will find him innocent

The walkthorough explains all, except for why when I reloaded the game, although I had saved before doing the trial, I was not allowed to do it again. I unfortuantely went down the wrong path in which I made him to be a drunked crazed thief. I can't remember if he was torn apart by the mob or put to death by the judges. Anyway, I felt really guilty and tried again, but I wasn't allowed back in the the room, and everyone I spoke to told me what a pity it was that he'd died.

Because they (Bioware) defined that you can't break the convesation in the trial withouth dire consequences.
The priest guy that runs it also tells you this before you start the trial

Ah.....I don't think I explained that properly. I saved the game just before going to Neur...Nevik...The chap who gives you the quest. Then I went and spoke to him (basically I thought that if I messed up, I could reload the game). So then Relik...Reruik...the prisoner got torn apart and I thought, "Whoops, let's try again". Reloaded and tried to do the quest again. I was told the prisoner was dead. What happened?
