Beggar's Nest Unresolved....

This is happened when i was in beggar nest, well i haven't speak to anyone at town, just to a man said that his brother is joining a strange cult, so i followed his direction, finished the cult and somehow through the graveyard i entered the Yuan-Ti nest. This is when the problem start, well since the Yuan-ti is soooo strong, i ran away using stone of recall, then hired a henchman and back again, after that i killed the Yuan-Ti, this is what i mean problem, she's still standing ( just standing, not even move) but the game says that she's aready dead ( there's "dead" label above her) and she also drop nothing..........
then i come back to beggar nest and found out, that there are lot of people i should speak with, including the one involving me in the Water Boys quest, so i finished the Water Boys quest, speak to everyone in the city, and seems like i've done all that could be done, the quest still unfinished in the journal, i also tried to speak with Aribeth, but there is no new option .... and i don't know what to do again....
Oh almost forget, now The Yuan-Ti is laying on the floor, still "dead", nothing else there, no zombie, monster etc anywhere in town.........

Sounds like a bug to me. Did you try saving and restarting your game, or updating it?

Thats definately a bug. Is your game fully patched? (click on the update button on the opening menu while connected to the internet and it should download and install the latest patch).

The yuan-ti only drops a scimitar +1 and the part needed for the main quest so you could try using the console to spawn these items and see if that opens up options to talk to Aribeth. You should be able to find the codes needed in the Toolset but if you have trouble finding them then let me know and I'll see if I can locate the codes.

thanks for your help. well, i didn't update, with my dial up net connection , it would take forever...........i export the my character and just replay again the chapter, but this time i speak to every NPC ( which giving me lots of quest ) before going to fight the Yuan Ti. Then it's just ended on the right way, she died and dropped something, including Holy Water( what is it for? ).

You can use holy water to make weapons etc. if you go to the smithy who can make you magical weapons and armour in chapters 1 and 3

I would recommend you patch your game, because the initial releases of NwN was quite buggy and the patches fix many problems.
The problem is naturally your connection, but I'd think it would be possible to get a CD with patches form various game-magazines or perhaps Bioware themselves. Or if you know somebody with broadband, then get them to download the patch(es) you need and burn them on a CD.

It will save you for a lot of grief onwards.
