atmospheric sounds

Hi
I've just started playing this game and learning to love it. I'm not a hardcore D&D player and find other D&D games a little lacking in pace - but this is excellent.

Just one problem - the atmospheric sounds are driving me up the wall. (by atmospheric sounds i mean those human sounds of fighting (in the training halls) and the moaning (in the hospital) which dont come from any particular character but from somewhare in the distance. My problem is they are the same sounds repeated over and over and over again and i'm nearly frantic!

Is there a way of turning these human sounds off but leave the 'natural' (wind, creatures, movement) sounds on?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - does anybody know a way to stop this loop? I've tried deleting some sound files which showed potentil in the environment sound folder - but it didn't help.

Please help
