Another Class Question

What do you guys think of the combo ranger/bard? I currently have a 5 ranger/5 bard in the main NWN campaign. Should I keep leveling the ranger and bard classes, or pursue the arcane archer, or just start over? Any input is appreciated.

personally, i've never found the ranger to be any "strength" other than for certain settings, and RP purposes. i would suggest to go for the arcane archer. the spells from the bard will be useful, and at higher bard levels, and with enough CHA, your bard song will also have more power effects.

since u will be using your bow, mainly, i suppose the ranger levels can give u those "free" bow feats. note that while they are given as bonus feats, thay are not essentially free, since u have paid so many class levels for it...

If you like the Ranger/Bard then by all means carry on with the character. If you don't - then don't play further.

But the Arcane Archer is definately an option - but remember, that is only for Elfs and Half-Elfs.
