| | | Am I missing something? - HotU (Possible Spoilers)
Okay, I just played through HotU for the first time, and I think I missed something. When I get to Cania, my two henchmen, Valen and Deekin, aren't there. Further more, when I get to the Knower of Names, she said I didn't have any true love, even though I thought Valen and I were doing really well before Mephty killed me.
Now the reason I bought the game was an article I read from a link on a KotOR site which had led me to believe that Valen came with me into the hell plains. And on the romance side, just how long does it take to make him my one true love?

| | | The true love thing is just a random roullete in my oppinion.. Sometimes I get Nathyrra... other times someone that got nothing to do with the game at all..
As for the romance with Valen, I think you have to have a dialogue with him all the way through the game. When he wants to talk to you in say the beholder area, you should work out the dialogue with him in that way that you improve his reaction to you.
I'm not sure if that is what you need though.

Have you tried reloading and retrying again? |

You'll need to talk to the Reaper. He'll call your henchmen back for you. That may be partially why you have no true love, as you are travelling alone. |
