World of Warcraft or EQ2?

To me this is one of the biggest contersersies about gaming. Many accuise blizzard of cheating Everquest and copying it.

This is going to be a battle of subscribtions.

Now before voting lets see the match up:

At the right, the defendant, Everquest. Many people are hardcore players of this game, the most popular of MMORPG games. In my opion it has not so good graphics.

And now, representing Blizzard Entertainment, WORLD OF WARCRAFT!
This is a game of wonderful graphics and gameplay. Travel across a huge world doing quests and building guilds. Not to mention, join in battles and conquest land in the epic battle between the Horde and the Alliance. So you do quests and take on your foe.

I think that World of Warcraft is much better.

Its simple logic? are you running Windows Xp or 98? Well then, if you go with Everquest 2 why not pick up an Apple computer with it?

i've always been an ever quest fan (and a sony fan... except for ps2... i hope the ps2 creaters burn in HELLO where was I...) and I don't plan on changing anytime soon

Well when choosing EQ2 or WoW. It depends on what kind of gamer you are. I believe a more fast paced gamer would choose WoW. I don't know where you heard Blizzard copied EQ, but it's bull I'm sure. I also enjoy the graphics of WoW better. It's more colorful and vibrant then say something like Morrowind or EQ. Which makes a video game better.

Crack, a less harmful addiction. I played some of the WoW beta (I voted here for WoW, its better then EQ by several orders of magnitute)... While extremely better then most MMORPGs (most give free month on signup... I bought one or two, and never got through my included time, and then i just started downloading any one of those I came across, havent found on that breaks the mold yet), its still sorely lacking on the plot, beleiveability (you cant eat cakes for health until you are level X, you can only eat muffins now!?!?!?), and even fun. The premise is to get you stuck in a neverending leveling cycle... Based on killing stuff, which involves no actual skill (you cannot dogfight like normal sims or control your characters movement like a shooter, instaed you stand there, select an attack, and wait for it to hit/miss based on your level and items... and then repeat, until someone dies.. to get loot, weeeee!) There is absolutely no point (aside from the fact that the people there are NICER then those you meet in real life, i mean when was the last time everyone was offering to teach you how to make money in a successful manner in the real world, for free, or giving you expansive stuff cause they bought something better "you can have my 42 inch HDTV, I bought a 52 in plasma screen").

The whole premise of doing THAT, is to get the people to shell over their precious money every month... Extremely successful, extremely useless as a game. (its not that its not fun, or that I am judging anyones idea of fun... but how much grief are you receiving from it? you know there is some, its an abusive relationship... you are like a woman with a black eye... dump the bastard, the good times arent worth it and there is so much better!)

Uhh I don't know what you're talking about. No game has a real point to playing it other then for entertainment and to pass the time. That's the whole point of a video game. Online games however have another element. Many people only Play MMORPGs because they find the gaming experiance to be more enjoyable when you are interacting with other real life people.
