Why is there nothing about GW...

Why is there nothing about Guild Wars in this Forum?

Havent there been any interest... ore are no GW Players active on Gamebanshee??

I am a dedicated GW Player... and since there are many people lookink and lurking around on these pages... I would really like to read and write about GW here...

PS: I am new here (I have been reading things here as a guest for some time.) But I hope there will be some reply on this post

There were a little interest amongst a couple of members so time ago.
But the MMOG scene have never been mighty active on GameBanshee, most likely because MMOGs have their own more or less official forums which all the players use. As opposed to single player games which are divided out amongst multiple forums over the Internet.

This is the game I am most looking forward to in 2005. I have been playing Diablo 2 since August 2001 (with a break for NWN and Halo) and I am looking forward to moving onto a new game. I've tried Divine Divinity, BG2, IWD, Sacred, Dungeon Siege, Morrowind, and probably others I can't remember atm. While I did enjoy some of them, they just didn't grip me like D2 has. I tried Guild Wars out for a bit during one of the beta last fall and I really liked what I saw. The info I have read so far has been promising too. I just hope the GW community is more mature and honest than what you normally see with online games. If the game turns out to be a stinker, then I'll probably take a strong look at Dragon Age and Dungeon Siege 2.

Which is said for most any MMOG I've looked at over the last 3-4 years.
It never happens - for some reason many MMOGs attract a multitude of immature and whiny people.

I have only missed 1 Guild Wars Beta Event. I am in Love with the game, it is far better then D2, or any other game, save for BG2 wich IMHO is the best RPG to date.

Graphics are great, it has a nice solid story line, you can go with a group or hire henchmen (which are free ) and you make your own armor instead of the old "find the best magical relic you can mysteriously get your hands on".

I made a post about it, i think if Gamebanshee does not want to make forums for it, at least make a site that tells facts about character creation, skills, etc.

I just started Guild Wars on Monday, and I have to say that I'm impressed. The only other MMO-type game I'd ever played before was Anarchy but didn't even play past the free trial period on that one. I like the fact that Guild Wars isn't a pay-for-play game because I have long periods of time where I simply can't sit in front of my PC for hours and hours every day (family does come first, job sometimes is second). With Guild Wars, I don't have to feel like I'm wasting my money if I can only play a few hours here and there. It's got a Daiblo feel to it, and I'm a big fan on the Diablo games, so I'm loving GW so far (and I'm only Lvl 6).
