Seed (mmo)

Anybody else intereste in playing SEED or is it just me. They make it soundvery interesting. Usually in MMO's you don't get to influence the online world your in, but in SEED the only way the online world can progress is throuh the players. It's up to the players to shape the world, the players have to invent things that can help their situation or doom it. It is also up to players to do all the politics and all that other government stuff. Their is no combat, but the rest of the features sound interesting.

Runstone Game Development, that developer working on Seed, declared bankruptcy. Seed will not be released, but wikipedia has set up a site that describes in detail what the game was like.

They took the interactive AI to another level (i am not exaggerating). The AI in Seed had emotions and reactions for your characters actions. And like i said, it is up to the players to do everything in the game. The NPC's where there for i don't know what.

They had several jobs (classes) arranging from labor work to, for lack of a better title, mayor.

I could care less about the game, but it's the features and the technology of the game i don't want to be gone.

It is quite some time ago Seed went belly up, so there is little of relevance in this. I'll let this topic stay alive though.

However, I will move it to the correct subforum (which isn't the discussion about GB features forum ) but the MMOG forum.
