I see there are no GuildWars thread, which surprise me.
Since it seems to be quite popular.

Anyone here playing Guildwars and what chr do you play?

I personally have played GW for alittle over 9 month. Playing only PVE.

Playing 3 chr mostly.

Mo/Me - Healing monk (Most fun chr to play IMO)
W/Mo - Sword or Axe/stance warrior. (Normally only use Monk for its Rebirth.)
N/Me SS necro, and can change my secondary to Monk for Minion Master.

Not really into MMO personally, but because of the no monthly payment I tried it out, and really liked the coop with my team members.
I also like that there is not as much difference chr stat wise, from someone who has played a month and another who has played 6 month.
Its mostly how you make your builds and play them. Which kind of make it more your own skills/stats rather than your character's stats that will determine an outcome of a battle.

Since I see other threads about Guildwars on this board when searching, but not when looking through this board normally.

Yes I play alot, been playing since it came out actually. I own prophecies, factions, and soon to come nightfall.
X= Multiple professions
Only writing down my main/rpg characters that have reached level 20
W/X Darth Lasings Clone (Best character over all, first)
R/X Arathorn of Elonia (Over all second best character)
N/X Emo Hellspawn (Over all third best character)
Mo/X Decius Painkiller (Over all, but not least, fourth best character, only been able to 55, but been playing with it and can now Play BoonProt, RC, WoH etc.)

I'm pretty good at the game, and I'm saddened to see that there is not a main forum of guild wars. As there is a World Of Warrcraft one, And a Dungeons And Dragons: Stormreach forum.

I recently ordered Guildwars of cd-wow. And I've been looking at possible build, but one thing im confused with, im sure it will make sense when I get the game. But in the build for the attributes to level E.g, axe mastery, it say's stuff like 10+1, now I find myself what the ****s 10+1 ! (11?) or does it mean that you need to acquire some item that gives you plus 1 to the certain attribute.

Guild Wars is a really fun game, I'm going on 20 months here in a couple days.

My main characters are:
Senior Killswitch-W/Mo, my 1st and best character
Killswitch Jr-Ele/Me, I often change the secondary
Thief In The Shadow-A/Me
Cir Ceen-R/Me
Necrotic Evil-N/Mo, is my Minion Master
Khiri Kailas-Rt, my PvP character which i never use

and there all max level. I have Factions and Prophecies, soon I'll have Nightfall.

i play WoW and FFXI....been wanting to play GW but is it worth spending so much for all three games just to get a feel of the lastest one? also is the overall gameplay good?

i hav never had a quild wars game but i am getting eye of the north do i need to have nightfall or/and faction

For Eye of the North you will need any one of the three campaigns.

It is the first true expansion to the game so it should theoretically be larger because of a lot of the programming already being in the game.

Might as well post in this thread than make another one about a similar topic. I was just wondering, with 4,000,000-something players, why there are no reviews or anything on the game. I would be glad to contribute reviews for all the GW games, although that'd mean I'd have to go out and buy a couple more of them. I haven't had a chance to practice my excellent writing skills in a while...Anyway there really should be a guild wars section on GB, for those who aren't into World of Warcraft. (As a player who has played through Guild Wars: Prophesies, the first GW game, I have seen the good and the bad. Too much of both, in my personal opinion.)

I enjoyed the first Guild Wars game (prophecies) but didn't like either of the expansions. I've not tried Eye of the North and may have a look at Guild Wars 2 when it comes out.

I'm so addicted to LOTRO though I rarely get chance to play any other MMORPG's anymore.
