Question Accounts in EQ2 and WoW

I wonder if people got more than eight accounts in EQ2 and WoW. Do you think that people buys more then eight copies of WoW or EQ2 and for what reason?

Eight is an example, it could be anything else. I just wonder why people buys so many copies and for what reason AND if they got more then eight copies.

I really wish to see some answers in this thread

I doubt many (private) people buy 8 accounts for most any MMORPG or game.
However - in some MMORPGs 2 or 3 accounts are more usual.

When I played DAoC - then in the latter days one could not compete in the PvP/RvR aspect withouth 2 accounts, and some even ran 3 accounts, because of the structure of the game with buffing specific classes and the effect.

As for EQ2 - I don't know, because I've not played that game nor read anything about it, however I doubt the spreading of "2 account" will become as widespread in WoW as it did in DAoC, because of the spreading out of buffs and the smaller impact they have.

But multiple accounts is not unheard of in MMOGs at all - although 8 accounts is to high number imo.
