 Trouble Loading + Bonus Content

i am having a MAJOR problem ppls. everytime i click on "load Game" or "Save Game" the whole thing freezes and after about 5 minutes, turns itself off!  i have the patch and really need help with this.
Also, i read that there is supposed to be a bonus content thing that allows an extra mission in the gate district about rescuing a merchants sister - WHERE IS IT????
plz help me
