Just Got It...

Well I finally bought it today for $8.99. I played the demo a million times when that had first come out, and I loved it. Now my only problem is what type of character to play. I'm a chronic restarter, and every time I start I go to the crossroads and get killed in one of the outer areas when you really get overwhelmed. So I'm wondering if I should skiip the crossroads for now, or just build a stronger character. By the way what builds are good, or even which of the prefab characters are good. I looked at 'em all and none of them were really what I was looking for. Very close but not quite.

I either play a necromancer type with emphasis on the leeching combat/minions or an unarmed combatant with some slight emphasis on healing spells. With all the branches, the possibilities are endless. You could do a melee with emphasis on some of the defensive spells. theres also some damage aura type spells. Experiment and play around a bit.

I actually just started up a human with single handed weap., evasion, and tribal: protective and she's doing OK. I wanna either try a demokin or feralkin unarmed too. Maybe I'll try one or both of those tonight.

I think you should explore the whole of barcelona city before venturing too far in the crossroads... there are many combinations of characters you can play so just mix and match to your liking.
