Hujark shamans

What the best offensive method to deal with these creatures ?

I'm in the Nostradamus Caverns now, and a pair of em was blocking my way to the next cave. I lured one of en away, because fighting two Shamans at the same time will surely lead to a quick death. How many hitpoints do these creatures have for god's sake ? I had to run, regain my health, and attack him again for at least a dozen times. One of em is dead now, and i'm working the other one. They keep casting electricity spells in a very rapid tempo, draining my health in only a matter of seconds, while i barely hit him.

So what's the best way to deal with those things ?

i draw them out one at a time if poss then use lightening bolt on them plus am wearing amulet of electrical carnage - seems to kill them off - but they are still difficult . I use the status bars to check what gives most damage

Yes, i use the same tactics, but i do so little damage compared to them. It's frustrating to have to flee all the time to regain health.

But that tactics won't work in the next room, according to the walkthrough the entrance will close behind me and i'll be trapped in a room with two warriors and one shaman. How am i ever gonna survive this without a truckload of healthpotions (which i don't have btw) ?

must admit, thats the hardest fight i've had yet. I'm not far past that. It's a shaman - wipe him out first - a blademaster then an assassin but all attack at once. After trying a couple of times and failing miserably, i went off to the crypts, after meeting jehanne , I took the lightening golem and Jehanne in with me. The blademaster and assassin attacked the golem while jehanne went straight for the shaman with me following. I let the golem die because it kept the other two occupied for a while and the enemies were getting too tough for him anyway. I kept pausing the game and using potions of mass healing to keep me and jehanne alive with potions extra healing and spirit elixir as well to top myself up. Kill them in the order above, I used thundercalp to knock them over and buy myself a bit of time and lightening bolt and straights hits and i killed them first attempt with the extra companion.

and i forgot to say - go back to all the merchants - choi the book, quinn the herbalist, the merchant at the crossroads, the woman on the pontoons ay montaillou and they will all have health potions to sell and they restock them as long as you go off and do a bit of killing in between, so i went back about three times after killing a few things in the crypts and they all have some healing, extra healing, mass healing or spirit potions to buy - i stocked up that way - a bit time consuming but the only way your going to get past those three

Well, the solution was much simpeler as i thought. I bought some explosive barrels from Wheng Choi, the Chinese merchant in Barcelona, and blew them to pieces. I used a "protection from fire" scroll, and stood right next to the barrels that i planted. They died all three in one big blow. That's another way to deal with it i guess.
