Fire, cold or electrical?

Hey everyone, if i intend to use 1 type of offensive spell for my melee character, which do you think is best? Fire, cold or electrical.

I personally prefere electrical (i always do in every game i play from Diablo to Final Fantasy to Lionheart)

But you will find better fireboosting items.

Not in all games.
But it's just my faforite damagetype. No special reason

There is definitely one place where you enemies are immune to fire damage, which is just about the only drawback. There are a bunch of firedamage enhancing items and perks, but I've only found one or two cold/electrical enhancing onces. I'm only level 13 and my fire damage is up to 198%. Choose for yourself.

Is there any specific benefit in developing electrical spells cause they look kinda cooler

No there isnt asside from the fact that electrical and cold have more spells in the tree, which IMO is a disadvantage more then an advantage because the last spells arent as powerful at lower levels.

Single advantage to electrical is that enemies have the least resistance to it and it has the second most +% damage gainable from items and perks.

Cold falls very short, the max you can increase the damage by is around 168%, which isnt even worth it because as skuld said, hes a low level firemage and his +% already surpasses that by about 30%.

Fire is the way to go, then electrical, then cold, but i wouldnt even bother with cold.

Comparing electical and cold spells... they seem to be rather similar; some spells hit single targets, some do radial damage around you and there are those which do a targeted area damage. However i have come to realise that between the same type of cold and electrical spells, cold seems to be doing more damage mostly, except for the final devastating electrical spell.
So does that mean cold is better? Or does the damage enhancing items/perks for electrical make it have the upper hand? What do you guys think.

Cold needs to do more base damage then either Fire or Electrical, because it cant be brought up with items as much as those, and the items which bring up cold damage are VERY rare to find, electrical ones are so-so but electrical MIGHT be more powerful then Fire, im not going to say anything but i know you can win the the game with a pure firemage, and electrical isnt a great chalange either, i have yet to try cold, but i dought its useullness.

Been trying thought:fire together with my melee character, though i seldom use its spells cas i focus more on melee skills. So far only managed to get fire orb and dragon breath, quite good actually. Maybe i'll try electrical next time, sounds/looks more cool...

Does anyone want to play lionheart multiplayer? ... Haven't really tried this feature so want to try it out, though it was tough to find online servers or anyone to play with
