Plans for the walkthrough

I was wondering if there are plans to finish the walkthrough, and update it now that the PC version is out. If not, does anyone know of another walkthrough of the same, or at least relatively close quality?

Yes, I will be updating and finishing the Jade Empire walkthrough. My wife and I just had our second child, though, and I have a few other projects I'm currently working on, so it could be a good week or two before you see any changes to it. I'll work on it as soon as I am able to.

Well, since it will be a while before we will see any Jade Empire walkthrough at this site, I recommend going to Jade Empire's game guide at Gamespot for now. I find their game guides pretty good and very reliable (includes video walkthroughs and pictures as well). Helped me a lot in quite a number of games like Chronicles of Riddick, the Prince of Persia series to name a few.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've seen the gamespot guide, and although it will tell you how to beat the game, it doesn't include the details nescessary that will let you get every technique and useful item in the game. It also lacks the detailed maps that the walkthrough here does. I tend to use gamebanshee whenever possible because of this. I'm on my second playthrough now anyways, so I figure it'll be better to just wait for the gamebanshee one.

Kind of agree with you here. It's not as detailed as GameBanshee's but it's not bad. I actually used both GB's and Gamespot's version for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic's walkthrough in order to know the different ways to approach a quest.

But, as for maps and other details, I trust GameBanshee's version more.

Oh my I've been checking this site every day since this thread was made I just can't wait! May I request that the walkthrough be uploaded chapter by chapter please?

I'm putting the finishing touches on a database of all the essence gems, techniques, plot items, and flyer upgrades. Once the database is complete, I'll start uploading the new walkthrough as I complete each location.

There's going to be an update for Chapter 3 onwards before my June holidays right?

I should have Chapter 3 done by the end of next week. I've already done most of the Imperial City itself and just need to go through the Imperial Arena, Necropolis, and Lotus Assassin Fortress to tie it all together.

I'm juggling multiple projects, so it's taking longer than expected.
