| You get some pretty insane gems later in the game. Most just give you substantial boosts to your three major stats. As such, I don't really remembe their names.
As for techniques, I actually liked my base technique of "Leaping Tiger" an awful lot. I found it to be a very effective melee discipline at higher levels. It may have been LE only, but it was quite fun. I also liked the various weapon disciplines. I tended to experiment with those. The "Mirabelle" rifle discipline was a lot of fun too, as there were several enemies who would go down very quickly on it.
I didn't care much for the transformation disciplines. They were situationally useful, but also very cumbsersome. I would have thought becoming a Jade Golem or Horse Demon would have felt cooler to me than it did.
If I play it through again, I'd like to experiment more with the magic disciplines. Sadly, I tended to neglect them as I was leveling, in favor or more hands-on types. |
