So I've been moving into HoF mode, the only problem being my level-squatting 20/1 wiz/fighter and wiz/rogue buffer/bombardiers have very very little spells from the 8th level. Fortunately for my wiz/fighter, the spells she does have are the ones I wanted (eg Horrid Wilting), but my wiz/rogue currently only has Symbol: Pain, which is a bit underwhelming to say the least. This is puzzling me as level 9 scrolls were everywhere in the severed hand, so my buffer has exec eyes, black blade of disaster, gate, summon monster IX, aegis and my more bombarding wizard has meteor swarm, wail of the banshee. I just want Symbol: Hopelessness and Fiery Cloud for my wiz/rogue!
I'm hoping that this doesn't mean that my wiz/rogue will be stuck with just symbol: pain for his 8th level and i'll have to wait for me to stop level squatting my sorceress to get symbol: hopelessness (which won't be for a while as I have 2 other characters that have higher priority for levelling when the time is right).
