The Ice Temple (spoiler)

I have killed all the monsters and the 3 sisters. The walkthrough says to return to Nathaniel and telll him the 3 sisters are dead and give him his items. When I speak to him, I cannot get that option and cannot give him his stuff. What do I do??

Sounds like maybe you didn't get all of his eqpt yet. Did you go to the secret Treasury?

I got his ring of the ram and bag of holding. Am I missing something?

Did you use the big dial-thing to undo the magic dampening field around the cells? I don't know if that really matters though...

hi

my uncle is playing iwd 2 but when you he gets sent to ice temple for the second time. a wizard aks him to kill all the monsters that he has imprisond thier but when he dose he car't get out. is their somthing wrong with the game or dose he need a pacth

most likely there is a monster that is running around unnoticed. i had a few times where i raced around the temple more than once to find the last one.

why is this a sticky? it doesnt help very much.

if you have his ring and bag of holding, you should be able to give it to him. you do not have to remove the anti-magic field, or solve the Caged Fury issue. you dont even have to have his ring at first. First you give him the bag, then, when you have killed the sisters, you will get the quest to destroy the altar. then when you return, he will ask for the ring.

Because everybody seems to have problems/difficulties with this area. If it wasn't a sticky, it would roll down to the end of the page or to the next page after a while, and if somebody came with another question he/she would start a new thread again, a 1524th on this topic. In order to avoid that, i made it a sticky

This way I can merge all the Ice Temple threads into one.

I have killed 2 sisters and the 3rd blew her self up using her staff/wand...

I know she is now meant to follow me around in spirit form but i cannot find her and she cannot find me !!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot continue onto Chapter 3 without killing her.......

CAN SOMEONE PLZ HELP AS I HAVE SAVED SINCE THEN AND CANNOT RELOAD IT B4 THIS HAPPENS

I have done everything else in the Ice Castle

Oria is supposed to be in the the first or second room to the right from the middle staircase that leads upstairs. You cannot defeat her unless you set the Mode Selector in the Game Room to "Inner Sanctum", that's when she assumes her ghost form. To make sure not to lose her, have only one of your party go to the Game Room to set the Selector, while the others keep fighting her.

Help! The stairs that leads to level 2 in the Aurilite Temple of chapter 2 won't unlock (there's a door on the floor that stays locked). It's the one where there are a lot of Trolls. It keeps telling me it's locked even though I've killed everything and picked up every item in level 1 of the Temple. Does anyone know what I need to do to get that damn door open? Can I use the console to give myself the key or something? I think it's a bug. Funny thing is, I can take the painting to go to level 2 by choosing Lysan and I can take the stairs up from there to get back to level 1 but once in level 1 the door is still locked so can't go back down through the same stairs. It's really very annoying! Can anyone help?

Cathin drops an item called the temple key. I don't know for certain that it unlocks the doors by the trolls, but it could be... Check the gamebanshee walkthrough to see where you encountered Cathin. The walkthrough doesn't mention anything about locked doors in that area.
