The best Cleric order

I'm curious to know what ppl's opinions are on which are the best Cleric orders and which ones leave a bit to be desired.

Personally I think the best ones are:
-Painbearer of Ilmater
-Watcher of Helm
-Battleguard of Tempus (in use by my own Cleric)

The crappiest one by far has to be the Lorekeeper of Oghma. I'm not too impressed with Demarch of Mask and Dreadmaster of Bane either, anybody beg to differ?

Re: The best Cleric order

Favorite:
1) Ilmater - This is what I play and I think he has the best domain spells. I always memorize (1) Protection from Evil (2) Aid (3) Magic Circle Against Evil (4) Holy Smite (5) Holy Power (6) Stoneskin (7) Holy Word (8) Holy Aura (9) Horrid Wilting. Both pain touch and ilmater's endurance are useful too.

2) Talos - again good spells, and is one of the few cleric classes to benefit from a spell feat, Scion of Storms.

3) Lathandar - the other cleric class to benefit from a spell feat, in this class Spirit of Flame.

Least Favorite:
1) Selune - this cleric concentrates on elemental summonings...I really dislike summonings, especially ones that take away xp from you...(I'm assuming since elementals come in hostile that their kills don't give you any xp)
2) Tempus - with the possible exceptions of animate dead and power word stun, his spells are the pits. Axe focus is somewhat silly since giving any priest one rank in maces gives you focus, and there's plenty of great maces in the game...and clerics don't really have much else to spend feats on anyway.
3) Mask - while useful dualed as a rogue, as a single class he's of questionable worth. His thief bonuses become useless and this spells aren't very good

I like my cleric of the mask. I m/c mine into 4 levels of fighter (did that quite late into the game). He kicks butt. The mirror image comes in quite handy, I'm constantly using that. I'm liking a lot of his spells.

I haven't tried any other cleric yet, so I can't compare. I just know I'm liking my plain ol human clerimask quite a bit. He's getting a heck of a lot of kills.

Mask and Ogma are not that bad, because they are the only two which get the "Executioner's eyes" spell at level 17...

Other than that, I'll stick with Lathander for:
meteor swarm + 20% damage from spirit of flame feat,
greater restoration,
raise dead,
and the Aura of Vitality, which really kicks.

If the creators have kept to the 3rd edition rules then you SHOULD get the experience from the kills that your summon creatures do. The D&D rule book explains it this way ...... if you drop a fireball on your enemies you get experience for the kills ..... so why wouldn't you for the summoned monsters? After all they are both spells!
